Health E Series 1

HealthE is a television series produced for BBC Wales Education and supported by a resource pack which provides teachers with materials for delivering health education at Key Stage 2.

In the first series there are five innovative programmes focusing on digestion, breathing, blood, the senses and growth.

The programme takes the form of a magical journey through the body whereby the presenter, Elin, becomes small and travels through Blod’s body systems. The programmes are available on video and can be purchased from BBC Wales.

The pack provides teachers with information about various parts of the body with ideas for health related activities. Most of the material is for use by the teacher. Some of the cards can be used by pupils. Cards relevant for pupils are indicated. Occasionally reference to the video will be made in the resource material.
